It’s official! Bilal Lashari’s ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ release date has been confirmed. The movie has been in the works for quite a few years and has been in the news for wrong reasons mostly. There was controversy and legal issues but it all seems to be a matter of past now.
The first teaser poster of The Legend of Maula Jatt just dropped. It was revealed by Bilal Lashari and the actors who star in the movie. Along the poster came the announcement of the new name of the movie, and a release date.
The Legend of Maula Jatt will be hitting the screens in Pakistan on Eid ul Fitr. That’s about 6 months from now… on June 4, 2019. Well, that’s exciting.. after all the confusion that the movie has seen.
The movie is remake of cult classic Maula Jatt, that was released back in 1979. The original movie starred Sultan Rahi, Mustafa Qureshi, and Seema in leading roles. It was to be named ‘Maula Jatt 2’ initially but it got it’s official name today.
